We had to go out of town to track down a smartass who hacked into our computer mainframe. He was staying in some small town, and after he was eliminated, there wasn't a way we could immediately get back to the base. It had started to storm badly, so we had to go to the only motel for the night. I don't know why so many people apparently wanted to visit that town, but the entire place was booked up except for one room that only had one bed. We had to make due with it. Though neither of us got much sleep. Every time we tried, we kept invading each other's side of the bed. I am not going through that again.

We caught another traitor today. He didn't stand a chance. He shouldn't have been so foolish as to ally himself with our enemies. They didn't save him when he needed it.

Vodka went to see Chardonnay when we got back. She doesn't seem to be doing any better. I wonder if she even realizes that Sake killed herself. She just continued to rock back and forth in a corner of the room.

At least Aoshi is dead now. After Sake's suicide while she was under his supervision, his actions couldn't be ignored any longer. Pathetic. Was he trying to get himself killed, by treating his patients the way he did?

When I find Portman, I'll take great pleasure in sending her to Hell, if there is such a place.
